Letterpress: A craft you can feel

We believe letterpress stands out (in the most beautiful way) from all the rest. That’s why we have dedicated ourselves to mastering this vintage printing method, this centuries-old craft for your once-in-a-lifetime moments.

But letterpress is more than a printing technique, it’s an experience. It’s the quiet elegance of deep impressions in soft paper. The feeling of texture beneath your fingertips. The subtle shadows cast by pressure, not pixels.

To bring each design to life, we use two vintage Heidelberg presses from the 1960s. These magnificent machines are a blend of grit and grace. Heavy, precise, and endlessly charming. Once your design is approved, we create custom printing plates with raised artwork. Each colour in your design requires its own plate, its own ink, and its own separate run through the press.

Inks are hand-mixed to match your exact shade, whether it’s dusty rose or a very particular olive green. Each sheet is then fed by hand, one at a time, with constant adjustments to pressure, alignment and ink coverage. It’s a slow, deliberate process. One that rewards patience and punishes shortcuts.

This antique technique might be old, but nothing compares. The result is tactile, rich, and impossibly elegant with a depth and character that no modern printer can replicate.

There’s beauty in the ritual. The rhythm of the press. The scent of ink. The soft thud of paper being transformed into something you’ll want to keep forever.

Letterpress isn’t just seen, it’s felt. And once you’ve held it in your hands, you’ll understand our obsession.
